House names two post offices, one courthouse
The third bill, H.R. 3637, names a post office in Florida after Roy Schallern Rood, and was approved shortly before 7 p.m. by a 362-2 vote, the only roll call vote of the day.
Immediately after the roll call vote, the House approved two resolutions related to the inauguration of the president-elect and vice president-elect in the November elections. The two resolutions are S.Con.Res. 35 and S.Con.Res. 36.
