House opens week with votes on post offices

In its first roll call votes since the five-week August recess, the House on Monday night voted on bills to name post offices.

A bill to designate the “Sergeant First Class Daniel M. Ferguson Post Office” in Mulberry, Fla. passed 401-0, while a measure to name the “Specialist Theodore Matthew Glende Post Office” in Rochester, N.Y. passed 399-0. 

{mosads}Twelve bills to name post offices were on the House calendar for Monday. Most of them passed on voice votes earlier in the afternoon.
