Jamie Dimon back for more testimony on $2 billion trading loss

The House Financial Services Committee will pick up where the Senate left off by holding its own hearing next week, titled “Examining Bank Supervision and Risk Management in Light of JPMorgan Chase’s Trading Loss.”

{mosads}But in the House, Dimon’s is the second panel; he will be preceded by a panel of Obama administration financial regulators. The first panel comprises Comptroller of the Currency Tom Curry, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairwoman Mary Schapiro, U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Gary Gensler, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation acting Chairman Martin Gruenberg and Federal Reserve Board of Governors General Counsel Scott Alvarez.

Also next week, the House Homeland Security Committee will hold a hearing on Muslim reaction to its “Muslim radicalization” series of hearings, and the House Ways and Means Committee will hold a hearing on Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization.
