Another Schock staffer subpoenaed
A former staffer for ex-Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Ill.) informed the House of a subpoena on Monday as part of a federal investigation.
Shea Ledford, a district special assistant, formally notified the full House of a grand jury subpoena for testimony before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, after four other staffers did so last week.
The grand jury reviewing whether Schock misused federal funds began its proceedings this month in Springfield, Ill.

Schock resigned from the House on March 31 following reports of improper spending of taxpayer dollars, including decorating his office in the style of the PBS drama “Downton Abbey” and requesting compensation for 170,000 miles on his personal car that had less than half the mileage when sold in 2014.
