House to probe embassy security, budget, NLRB ruling

On Wednesday, the House Budget Committee meets to review the CBO’s budget and economic outlook.

Also Wednesday, a House Education & the Workforce subcommittee meets to discuss “What Noel Canning vs. NLRB Means for Workers, Employers and Unions.” The hearing is a response to an appeals court decision that said two National Labor Relations Board members were not appointed consistent with the Constitution.

{mosads}President Obama recess-appointed two current board members at a time when the Senate was not in recess. Several Republicans have said that ruling means the NLRB should freeze all of its work until new members are appointed.
