Democrats release Thursday’s convention schedule
Aside from the expected nomination acceptance speeches from Vice President Biden and President Obama, Reps. Barney Frank (Mass.), Donna Edwards (Md.), John Lewis (Ga.), Tammy Baldwin (Wis.), James Clyburn (S.C.), Xavier Becerra (Calif.) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla.) will all speak. Sen. Dick Durbin (Ill.) will introduce Obama.
{mosads}The Foo Fighters will perform close to 9 p.m. and actresses Scarlett Johansson, Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria have prime-time speaking spots.
North Carolina lawmakers speaking include Sen. Kay Hagan and Reps. G.K. Butterfield, David Price and Mel Watt.
