Friday: Defense appropriations

The House will convene at 9 a.m. Members will debate the final remaining amendments to the 2015 Defense appropriations bill before voting on final passage.

The Defense appropriations measure is being considered under a modified open rule, which allows members to offer as many amendments as they want. Amendments are limited to ten minutes of debate each.

{mosads}Since members do not have to pre-file amendments under an open rule, it is unclear how many amendments remain. But the only vote series of the day is expected between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Senate is not in session Friday.
