Tuesday: Nominations, natural gas exports
The House will consider a bill to expedite applications for natural gas exports, while the Senate will finish votes on nominations.
The Senate will convene at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., the Senate will vote to confirm four district court judge nominees, as well as on a motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Leon Rodriguez to be director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services of the Department of Homeland Security.
{mosads}Meanwhile, the House will vote on passage and amendments of a bill to reauthorize the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. It will also consider six bills under suspension of the rules, including the fiscal 2014 intelligence authorization.
Later in the day, the House may consider H.R. 6, a bill to expedite natural gas exports authored by Rep. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), who is running for Senate.
