Wednesday: Regulations, DHS spending
The House will vote on a regulatory process reform bill on Wednesday, while the Senate might vote again on a spending bill for the Department of Homeland Security.
House votes are expected around 1:15-2:15 p.m. on the rule for a bill to require agencies to estimate how much a proposed rule would affect the economy on an annual basis. Votes on final passage are expected around 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) entered a motion to reconsider the vote to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to the DHS spending bill with language to defund President Obama’s immigration actions. It failed to advance Tuesday due to a Democratic filibuster. But McConnell may bring up the vote again during Wednesday’s session, even though it would result in the same outcome.
