Senate adjourns after lackluster week
Senators did come to the floor throughout the week to discuss a number of bills, including two that would strip oil companies of tax benefits, the DREAM Act — a bill that would provide citizenship for some illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children — and various budget proposals. Four judicial nominees were also confirmed.
The Senate is set to return at 2 p.m. Monday and will take up another judicial confirmation that afternoon.
