GOP senator suggests Dems’ healthcare law will be repealed if Republican wins the White House
The Patch reported that Kirk, who occupies the seat once held by President Obama, saved his “sharpest words for the 2010 healthcare reform bill,” which he accused of providing an incentive for large companies to decrease in size in order to avoid having to fully insure their employees. Kirk added he believes the bill ought to be repealed.
Kirk was speaking to business leaders in Aurora, Ill., to tout his own infrastructure project, which would use a mix of public and private funding to stimulate the rail, highway and aviation industries.
