Senate settles in for currency debate

The Senate adjourned at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday night. Besides advancing the currency bill, the Senate approved the nominations of five judicial nominees en bloc as well as the nomination of Henry Floyd to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit by a vote of 96-0.

The Senate will be back on Tuesday at 10 a.m. to continue the consideration of the currency bill.
