Whitehouse plans climate change all-nighter Monday
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) is planning an all-night session in the Senate Monday to discuss climate change, according to his staff.
Expect a much longer version of his weekly “Wake Up” speech, which he has given nearly 60 times on the Senate floor.
{mosads}Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) is expected to help Whitehouse keep the speeches going well into Tuesday morning.
The Hill previously reported that Whitehouse is heading to Iowa to discuss climate change because he wants the environment to be a top issue during the 2016 presidential caucuses.
