{mosads}Reid passed S.Res. 434, 435 and 436 through a unanimous consent agreement. Those resolutions officially made Wilson the Senate Sergeant at Arms and notified President Obama and the House about the change.

“He will thrive in the Sergeant at Arms office because of his work ethic,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “He’s a very talented man and a quick learner.”

Wilson has been the Deputy Sergeant at Arms for the past five years.
