Senate confirms two judicial nominees
The Senate voted to confirm two more of President Obama’s judicial nominees on Tuesday.
Leo Sorokin was confirmed on a 91-0 vote to be a U.S. district judge for the District of Massachusetts.
{mosads}And the Senate voted 58-35 to confirm Richard Boulware to be a U.S. district judge for the District of Nevada.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Boulware would be the first African American man to serve on the district court of Nevada.
Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) said he hoped the “excellent” nominee, Boulware, would be confirmed on a bipartisan basis.
