Reid condemns killing of three Israeli teens
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) denounced the killing of three Israeli teens, whose bodies were found Monday.
“Violence of this kind is indefensible,” Reid said. “I stand with Israel as I condemn this senseless act of terrorism.”
{mosads}Israeli officials confirmed that they found the bodies of Gilad Shaar, 16; Eyal Yifrach, 19; and Naftali Fraenkel, 16, near the West Bank on Monday.
Fraenkel had duel citizenship in Israel and the United States.
Reid said the teens “died too soon.”
Israeli officials suspect Hamas was involved in the killings and have made arrests, but the organization, which is part of the Palestinian government, has denied those claims.
