Tuesday: Highway Trust Fund, energy nominees

The House will consider a measure to replenish the Highway Trust Fund through May 2015. A vote is likely in the late afternoon.

Additionally, the House will continue debating amendments to the fiscal 2015 Financial Services appropriations bill.

{mosads}The Senate starts at 10 a.m. and will spend the day considering two of President Obama’s nominations to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

At noon the Senate will vote whether to end debate on the nominations of Norman Bay and Cheryl LaFleur to be members of FERC. If cloture is invoked their final confirmation votes will occur at 3 p.m.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 until 2:15 p.m. for weekly caucus luncheons.
