Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) vowed to help Bay Area residents, who were hit by a 6.0 magnitude earthquake on Sunday.
{mosads}“My thoughts are with all those injured and displaced by this powerful earthquake that caused significant damage in Napa and other communities,” Boxer said Sunday. “I am sending my field staff to Napa tomorrow, and I will be talking to local officials about how we can help ensure that residents, businesses and communities have the resources they need to recover and rebuild.”
Sunday’s earthquake was the largest in Northern California for nearly 25 years, according to the U.S. Geological Service.
The quake was centered in Napa County but affected other areas in the region.
