Cruz performs impersonation of Bush 41

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) performed his take on Dana Carvey’s famous impersonation of George H.W. Bush.
“Who can forget Dana Carvey’s George Herbert Walker Bush, ‘not gonna do it,’” Cruz said on the Senate floor Tuesday.
{mosads}Cruz was giving a speech blasting Senate Democrats for proposing a constitutional amendment to limit campaign spending.
He said if Democrats had their way, Congress would be able to ban books and movies and control television content, such as Saturday Night Live.
Cruz used the example of SNL because Sen. Al Fraken (D-Minn.), a former SNL writer and actor, is sponsoring the amendment.
Cruz is considered a potential GOP presidential candidate in 2016. He frequently uses pop culture references in his floor speeches. During his 21-hour floor speech last year he spoke about the children’s book “Green Eggs and Ham”, TV show Duck Dynasty and the movie Star Wars.
