Senate votes to confirm two judicial nominations
Mark E. Walker was confirmed to serve as U.S. district judge for the northern district of Florida on a 94-0 vote.
{mosads}Shortly after that vote, Terrence G. Berg was confirmed by voice-vote to be U.S. district judge for the eastern district of Michigan.
Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) said Berg was an “outstanding nominee.”
“Berg’s qualifications are extraordinarily impressive and will serve on the bench with great distinction,” Levin said before the votes.
