Members approved these two bills shortly before 4 p.m., just prior to moving to debate a continuing resolution allowing federal spending through Nov. 18.
Earlier in the day, members approved by voice vote H.R. 2943, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Extension Act.
The House also debated H.R. 2883, the Child and Family Services Improvement and Innovation Act, on Wednesday, and approved that bill later in the day by a 395-25 vote.
