Several staffers in the office of Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.) appeared enthused Thursday as they cheered on the United States in its World Cup matchup against Germany.
The congressman’s press secretary told The Hill that, although the office was keeping up with the game, they were “of course” still hard at work.
While many aides could be seen sporting patriotic colors and rooting for the home team, the receptionist seemed less than thrilled with the soccer hoopla, saying she was the only one there who didn’t care about the game.
