WH correspondent remembered for his ‘kindness,’ tenacity

Fox News Radio is mourning the death of White House correspondent Mike Majchrowitz. The veteran journalist, 51, died over the weekend after a long battle with cancer.

{mosads}”Mike was an original — a solidly tenacious reporter, a thoughtful anchor and a good man. He earned the respect of his colleagues for many things, not the least of which was his kindness,” Fox News Radio Vice President Mitch Davis told ITK in a statement.

“From our earliest days he helped Fox News Radio grow into what we are now. His voice was unique, as was his courage. Throughout his struggle, he remained positive and was an inspiration to us all. We will miss him,” Davis said.

Majchrowitz, born in 1963 in Wisconsin, was a father of three.

Colleagues and friends remembered the longtime Washington correspondent, with tributes pouring in online and on social media. On Facebook, SiriusXM host Julie Mason called Majchrowitz “such a good guy, a good man — a friend, colleague, mentor.” Mason added: “I can’t believe he is gone.”

Fox News Channel’s Shannon Bream called Majchrowitz an “amazing man.”
