Miss America hopefuls come out to Capitol
SPOTTED: Brains and beauty invading the Capitol, as all 53 of the 2015 Miss America contestants wore their sashes during a Tuesday visit.
The Capitol Hill pit stop was part of a whirlwind few days in the nation’s capital for the pageant contestants, who will all be vying for the crown at next Sunday’s competition in Atlantic City, N.J.
The group was photographed alongside President Obama’s dogs, Bo and Sunny, at the White House earlier on Tuesday:

The contestants also shared a dinner at Carmine’s restaurant in Washington and participated in a leadership session with the nonpartisan Running Start, which educates and trains young women in political leadership.
