Outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder mused Wednesday that there is just one actor who could play him in the movies.
‘There’s only one answer,” Holder quipped when asked about his preference during an interview at the Washington Ideas Forum. “Denzel.”
{mosads}Holder, who announced his departure from the Justice Department last month, appeared especially loose during the event, hosted by The Aspen Institute and The Atlantic.
The most commonly played song on his iPod: The Temptations’ “Since I Lost My Baby.”
The last movie he watched: “The Godfather” (via iPad, on a trip to Las Vegas).
The person he’d most like to meet: Pope Francis
His guilty pleasure: binge watching “not too serious” TV shows, including “Homeland” and “Boardwalk Empire.”
Asked which shows — among “Homeland,” “Scandal,” “Veep” and “House of Cards” — got Washington “mostly right,” Holder couldn’t resist getting in a jab at a previous administration.
“Depending on the administration, I’d say ‘House of Cards,’ ” Holder said, before referring to Kevin Spacey’s role as a diabolical vice president. “And I like Joe Biden, so I’m not talking about him.”
