SPOTTED: House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) sharing a laugh with the Piano Man himself, Billy Joel, during a pit stop by the entertainer at the Capitol on Wednesday.
The “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant” singer was poised to receive the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song Wednesday evening in Washington.
Joel, donning an all-black ensemble and scarf, was seen sitting down for a chat in Boehner’s office in a photo posted on the lawmaker’s Instagram page.
