Pacquiao talks Floyd fight with Reid
Boxer Manny Pacquiao visited Congress on Wednesday to attend the National Prayer Breakfast — but that wasn’t far enough to escape questions about whether he will fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.
{mosads}Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) tweeted a picture of him talking to Pacquiao and said that the boxer had told him that he was ready to fight Mayweather.

Sports fans have been pushing for a fight between the two men for years. Mayweather is undefeated in his professional career and Pacquiao is considered one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters in the world. Though there are consistent rumors of a bout between the two, their camps have not been able to come to an agreement.
Reid, a former boxer, also said that he had told Pacquiao about his current facial injury — which was sustained while Reid was exercising at his Nevada home.
Rep. Janice Hahn (D-Calif.) also said on Twitter that she had met the boxer and sent her followers a photo of her, Pacquiao and the actor Stephen Baldwin.

Pacquiao is a legislator himself, serving in the Congress in his native Philippines.
