Obamas team up to mark five years of Let’s Move!

President Obama attempts to put his acting chops on display in a new video released as part of his wife’s “Let’s Move!” anti-childhood obesity initiative.

“Hey everybody! I’m so excited to talk to you about the fifth anniversary of ‘Let’s Move,’” Michelle Obama says to the camera in a clip released Monday promoting her #GimmeFive challenge.

{mosads}But then, the commander-in-chief interrupts the first lady mid-sentence.

“Honey, have you seen my blue tie?” Obama asks. Seemingly surprised by the cameras, the president says, “What’s going on here?”

“Well, we are celebrating a big anniversary,” Michelle Obama replies.

“Oh, what exactly are we celebrating?” Obama inquires.

“It has been five years since we launched ‘Let’s Move,’” FLOTUS says, before describing the challenge for people to share five ways they’re being healthier.

“Well even I’ve got time for that,” the president says about the #GimmeFive campaign, as he puts his hand to his chin in a dramatic pose.

“By the way, your tie is right there on the ground,” Obama tells her husband.

“That’s halfway to a push-up,” he replies.
