Prince Charles to meet with lawmakers
Prince Charles will meet with lawmakers during a whirlwind trip to Washington this week.
{mosads}The prince of Wales is poised to have a face-to-face with congressional leadership on Capitol Hill on Thursday, according to guidance sent Monday by Clarence House, his London residence.
The meeting with members of Congress is scheduled just hours after Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the duchess of Cornwall, will visit the White House for a get-together with President Obama and Vice President Biden.
The heir to the British throne is making his 20th official visit to the United States with this week’s four-day tour. Charles and Camilla will be in Washington from Tuesday until Thursday, before traveling to Louisville, Ky.
