Hogan: ‘Cancer picked the wrong fight’
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) says he’s “feeling really strong” as he undergoes chemotherapy in his battle against cancer.
{mosads}Hogan wrote in a Tuesday Facebook post, “Starting day 4 of 24 hour chemo treatment. Still feeling really strong. I think cancer picked the wrong fight!”
In a news conference last week, Hogan, 59, revealed he was diagnosed with a “very advanced” and “very aggressive” stage of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
“Will be out of the hospital and heading home tomorrow night!” wrote Hogan, a dad of three who took his first elected office in January. “Feeling the love, support and prayers! It means the world to me and really helps keep me going!”
