White House cribs ‘Compton’ meme to sell Iran deal
The White House on Thursday turned to gangster rap in an attempt to sell the international nuclear deal with Iran.
Responding to a tweet regarding the recently released movie “Straight Outta Compton,” about the music group NWA, the White House’s Twitter account dedicated specifically to the nuclear accord tweeted:

It comes a day after presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign was mocked for a tweet asking followers to explain their thoughts on student loan debt “in 3 emojis or less,” leading to some comparisons:
Could you explain the deal in three emojis or less? https://t.co/HAA2lHYeBb

Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), a Republican presidential candidate and vocal opponent of the nuclear accord with Iran who is expected to see the hip-hop movie Friday, tweeted back:
Actually, this deal guarantees that Iran will have a nuclear weapon in 15 years. https://t.co/8XrhDS5Iic
