Holiday party secret guest clue: ‘Funny, how?’

The Christmas-time guessing game continues for those who wish to guess which secret celebrity guest will turn up at Ron Bonjean’s annual D.C. holiday party.

{mosads}Bonjean, a GOP consultant, and his wife, Sara, are hosting a seasonal, invite-only bash at their home on Saturday. Each year, the fête features a surprise star.

The latest clue from Bonjean for our astute ITK readers — a classic scene from the 1990 movie “Goodfellas.” In the clip, actor Joe Pesci, playing volatile armed robber Tommy DeVito, shares drinks with gangster Henry Hill, played by Ray Liota.

After Hill starts cracking up during their conversation and calls him “funny,” the wise-talking DeVito suddenly gets serious, “I’m funny, how? I mean, funny like I’m a clown? I amuse you? I make you laugh?”

Hill appears dumbfounded by the perceived slight, before DeVito lets out a big laugh and says he was just jesting, exclaiming, “I almost had him!”

Bonjean, a partner at Rokk Soltuions, offered up another clue last week: the intro to the HBO serious, “Entourage.”

Past guests at the wild soiree have included: “Saved by the Bell’s” Dennis Haskins, Gary Busey, and “CHiPs” star Erik Estrada.

When asked what he expects from this year’s shindig, Bonjean told ITK, “No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they got plenty of sleep.”
