Hillary gives glimpse at date nights with Bill
Hillary Clinton is giving a glimpse into date nights with Bill Clinton.
“We like to watch TV together, we like to watch movies together, we like to go on long walks together,” the Democratic presidential front-runner says in a preview clip obtained by ITK from an episode of “The Conversation” airing Wednesday night on Lifetime.
A date with the ex-president, her husband of 40 years, consists of “usually a movie and dinner,” Clinton says.
{mosads}But these days, the former secretary of State says staying in with her nearly 1-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter Charlotte often trumps a night out on the town.
“Now, a lot of our time is spent with our granddaughter,” Clinton tells Amanda de Cadenet.
Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, gave birth to Charlotte in September 2014 and is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Marc Mezvinsky.
“So even when we’ve got time together,” says Clinton, “it may not be to go out so much as to go into New York or stop in New York and see Charlotte.”
But when she’s not hitting the campaign trail, the White House hopeful says don’t expect to see her and her spouse on diaper duty.
When it comes to changing diapers, Clinton says with a laugh, “We let the pros, namely [Charlotte’s] parents, do that. We’ll read a book or something.”
