Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen hit the trail for Hillary

Ted Danson and wife Mary Steenburgen have more in common than their long list of acting credits: They’re active Hillary Clinton supporters.

The celeb pair was eyed in New Hampshire on Monday and Tuesday campaigning for the Democratic presidential front-runner ahead of the Granite State’s first-in-the-nation primary.

{mosads}Touting Clinton’s environmental record, “Cheers” star Danson heaped praise on the former secretary of State at a Monday night campaign event.

“I love her with every fiber of my being,” Danson told a crowd, repeating a line he’s reportedly said before, according to Massachusetts’s Lowell Sun newspaper.

“I think that she’s smart,” Steenburgen said in a video posted by a New York Times reporter on Tuesday. “I think that if you laid out every single résumé of every single presidential candidate, and took their names off and their gender off, there’s only one that stands out as being the world’s most qualified person to be in this role for all the different reasons.”

Danson, whom The Hill eyed checking out of a Manchester, N.H., hotel on Tuesday, once said that he and his Academy Award-winning wife forged a friendship with the Clintons when the former president was governor of Arkansas. “They were best friends,” Danson told “CBS This Morning” in 2013 of Bill Clinton and Steenburgen, “and — I mean — he gave her away at our wedding.”

“The Help” actress Steenburgen didn’t appear to hold back Tuesday when speaking of the 2016 White House hopeful, “[Hillary Clinton] happens to be a woman, which would be such an amazing thing for this planet.”

Clinton faces a tough Democratic primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday, where polls show Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders leading her by double digits.
