A mischievous trick-or-treater played a joke on President Obama during his final Halloween at the White House.
Obama greeted a child dressed as a “lame duck” during the annual trick-or-treat event on the South Lawn.

It was perhaps an unwelcome reminder for the president, who has repeatedly rejected the “lame duck” label, that he will officially become one next week after his successor is elected.
{mosads}More than 4,000 people are expected to visit the White House for Halloween, including students from District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia schools, according to the White House.
The president and first lady are handing out a variety of treats to children, including White House Hershey Kisses and M&Ms, cookies and kettle corn. The snack list also includes fruit bars, an homage to Michelle Obama’s healthy eating initiative.
