George Orwell’s “1984” is coming to Broadway as a stage production, The New York Times reports, as the novel enjoys new popularity under the Trump administration.

The play, created by writers Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan, has already seen multiple runs in the United Kingdom. But two producers, Sonia Friedman and Scott Rudin, are hoping to capitalize on the book’s current best-seller status in the U.S.

{mosads}Sales of the dystopian novel published in 1949 have skyrocketed in the weeks since President Trump’s inauguration. The novel gained new attention following a comment by White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway dismissing false statements from press secretary Sean Spicer as “alternative facts.”

As of Friday, “1984” was ranked No. 2 on Amazon’s list of best-selling books. In fact, sales have surged so much that the online retail giant officially sold out of the book last week, but it has since come back in stock.

The play is set to open in New York on June 22.
