Zach Braff offers to play Trump aide Stephen Miller on ‘SNL’

Actor Zach Braff is offering to play White House adviser Stephen Miller on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” following the Trump aide’s contentious appearances on Sunday’s talk shows.

On Monday, Braff said in a tweet addressed to “SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels that he would shave his hair if he could play Miller, President Trump’s 31-year-old policy adviser.

“Dear Lorne, I will shave my head to play this guy. Pleeeease. @nbcsnl,” Braff tweeted.

Miller got scathing reviews after Sunday segments on “Meet the Press,” “Face the Nation” and “This Week,” during which he repeated unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud in the 2016 elections and implied the court system was wrong to challenge Trump’s executive orders.

{mosads}Braff’s plea comes as more actors and actresses are requesting to play members of the Trump administration.

Rosie O’Donnell offered to play White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon, replacing her Twitter profile picture with a photoshopped image of herself as the former Breitbart News executive.

“SNL” cast member Leslie Jones auditioned to play Trump during a recent episode.

Actress Melissa McCarthy has portrayed White House press secretary Sean Spicer during the show’s last two episodes. Spicer has told her to “dial back” the impression of him, and Trump reportedly disliked seeing a woman impersonate his top communications aide.
