Schwarzenegger tweets to McCain: ‘You’ll be back’
Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) on Thursday tweeted well wishes to Sen. John McCain in the form of his most famous catchphrase after the Arizona Republican revealed his diagnosis of brain cancer.
Retweeting McCain’s first tweet since the diagnosis was made public Wednesday evening, the action star said America needs McCain’s “straight talk, strength, and courage.”
{mosads}McCain had tweeted that he appreciates “the outpouring of support” over the news.
“I’ll be back soon, so stand-by!” McCain said.
You’re right – you’ll be back. You have to be back. We need your straight talk, your strength & your courage. I’m thinking of you, my friend https://t.co/BvVhStVvyG

McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix after he underwent a minor procedure last week to remove a blood clot from above his left eye.
“Subsequent tissue pathology revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot,” the hospital said in a statement.
“The Senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options with his Mayo Clinic care team. Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.”
McCain’s latest diagnosis is not his first battle with cancer. The former Republican presidential nominee underwent a procedure in 2000 to remove melanoma from the left side of his face.
