Larry David on comparisons to Trump: ‘I don’t consider myself a prick’

Comedian Larry David says he doesn’t have that much in common with President Trump because he’s not a “prick.”

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator was asked about his TV persona while speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour Wednesday — specifically, how similar it is to Trump.

“You talking to me? Well, I don’t consider myself a prick,” David responded, according to Vulture.

{mosads}He also spoke about the upcoming season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which will be returning for its ninth season six years after its last. He said he was tired of people asking him if the show will pick back up, and thought it was the right time.

David has made clear his dislike for Trump, saying before the election that thinking about Trump winning was like “contemplating your own death” and appearing at a fundraiser for an environmental group that’s suing Trump.

David, who has golfed with former President Obama a number of times, played Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) frequently on “Saturday Night Live” during the presidential campaign.
