Patriots gave Trump Super Bowl ring
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft gave President Trump a Super Bowl ring when the team visited the White House earlier this year, according to a new report.
The defending Super Bowl champions told USA Today on Tuesday that they gifted the ring to thank Trump for being the first pro sports team invited to his White House.

A team spokesman said Trump got a customized ring similar to the one the team received. The inside of the ring is inscribed with “we are all Patriots” and “greatest comeback ever,” a reference to the Patriots’ surprise comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl.
The spokesman said Kraft believed that out of all of the Patriots visits to the White House, this was the best. Trump and Kraft are longtime friends, and the Patriots owner said the team had longer access to the president than any of his predecessors.
Other more traditional gifts given to Trump by the team included a helmet and jersey.
No price tag was put on the rings, but Kraft’s 2015 Super Bowl rings cost $36,500 each and included 200 diamonds. According to Minnesota-based Josten’s, which manufactured this year’s rings, Kraft’s order for 2017 was the “biggest Super Bowl ring” to date.
Rules against presidents receiving gifts prohibit Trump from accepting items worth more than $375. According to the Patriots’ spokesman, the ring will be kept in Trump’s presidential library.
