Kimmel on Kushner’s emails, female voter registration: ‘Lock her up!’
Jimmy Kimmel took a shot at Jared Kushner Wednesday night after it was revealed Wednesday morning that the president’s senior adviser and son-in-law is registered in New York as female voter.
Kushner’s registration also shows no party affiliation.
“He’s not a Republican or a Democrat, he’s just an independent woman,” Kimmel said.
{mosads}”Kushner can’t even fill out the most basic paperwork without screwing it up, so it’s a mystery why anyone thinks he’s somehow going to bring peace to the Middle East,” a spokesperson from American Bridge, the Democratic opposition group that noticed the error, told Wired.
Reports emerged this week that Kushner and other White House officials used private email accounts to conduct government business, sparking charges of hypocrisy after the Republicans harshly criticizing Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
Kimmel ripped Kushner on the emails too, invoking chants heard at President Trump’s rallies throughout the 2016 election about Clinton’s emails.
“I say, lock her up, lock her up, lock her up,” Kimmel said, in reference to Kushner.
