Dave Chappelle knocks Louis CK accuser as ‘weak’ in new stand-up special
Dave Chappelle is defending fellow stand-up comedian Louis C.K. amid the recent wave of sexual misconduct allegations against prominent men, saying one of C.K.’s accusers sounds “weak.”
“Them women sound, they sound weak. I know that sounds f—ed up, I’m not supposed to say that, but one of these ladies was like, ‘Louis C.K. was masturbating while I was on the phone with him.’ Bitch, you don’t know how to hang up a phone?” Chappelle jokes in “Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation,” which was released on New Year’s Eve.
“How the f— are you going to survive in show business if this is an actual obstacle to your dreams?” he added, as first reported by The New York Post.

Five women accused C.K. of sexual misconduct in a New York Times story published in November, with accusations including masturbating in front of them. C.K. apologized and admitted the stories were true in a statement released soon after.
HBO dropped C.K.’s content from its services, FX has severed all ties with C.K. and Netflix cancelled the comedian’s planned stand-up specials.
“One lady said, ‘Louis C.K. masturbated in front of me, ruined my comedy dreams,’” Chappelle said. “Word? Well then I daresay, madam, you may have never had a dream. Come on, man, that’s a brittle spirit. That is a brittle-ass spirit, that is too much, this grown-ass woman.”
He also discussed allegations against film mogul Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey in the special, which was recorded in November.
Chappelle had two new stand-up specials released on Netflix on Sunday. In his other special, titled “Equanimity,” Chappelle addressed President Trump and his supporters.
The comedian said he “feels sorry” for “poor whites” who voted for Trump in the 2016 election because he believes the president is actually fighting for wealthier Americans.
