Celebs wear white roses to Grammys to protest sexual harassment
Musicians adorned themselves with white roses for Sunday night’s Grammy Awards in a show of solidarity with anti-sexual harassment initiatives in the entertainment industry.
The New York Times reported last week that a campaign was underway urging attendees to wear a white rose as a show of unity with the “Time’s Up” movement.
Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Lana Del Rey and Jon Batiste were among the artists spotted on the red carpet donning white roses. {mosads}

The entertainment community was rocked last year by allegations of sexual misconduct against numerous high-profile men, including Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman and Louis C.K.
The music industry has had fewer figures directly accused, though multiple women have alleged producer Russell Simmons raped them.
In response to the reports of sexual harassment, several female celebrities launched the “Time’s Up” initiative, which established a legal defense fund for women in less privileged fields who have been sexually harassed.
Nearly every attendee of the Golden Globes earlier this month wore black in a show of solidarity against the culture of sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry.
