Who still uses a typewriter? Sensenbrenner does
Forget iPads and PCs, when it comes to writing letters, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner likes to keep his communication mode pretty retro.
The Wisconsin Republican prefers typing messages on a gray, vintage-looking typewriter. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) revealed his colleague’s typing tendencies in a tweet Thursday:
Just had a meeting with Rep. Sensenbrenner. He was typing a letter. This is how he does it. Seriously. pic.twitter.com/pBgUyjg221

We hear 70-year-old Sensenbrenner, a member of the House Committee on Space, Science, and Technology committee, does his letter writing on an IBM Selectric II. The machine was first introduced in 1971.
