The Hill’s 50 Most Beautiful leads to brawl

The Hill’s “50 Most Beautiful” list has sparked controversy, instant fame and more than a few date nights on Capitol Hill.

In a profile for the latest annual list of government staffers, influencers and hangers-on, 23-year-old Yusuf Parray said that he would “love to get in the ring or get on the mat” with Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.), a former professional mixed martial arts fighter and honoree on the 2014 Most Beautiful list.

“Tell him I’ll take him down,” Parray, a longtime wrestler and aide to Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.), joked.

Mullin, 38, heard the challenge and accepted.

On Wednesday, he paid a visit to Parray’s office to introduce himself, snap a couple pictures and take him up on the offer.

“We’ll be working to get Rep. Mullin and Yusuf together at a local gym after the August break,” Mullin spokeswoman Liz Ritonia told The Hill.
