‘Batman v Superman’ star pushes Cory Booker for president
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” star Jesse Eisenberg is reportedly giving Sen. Cory Booker a superhero-sized push to run for president.
The 32-year-old actor approached the New Jersey Democrat at the flick’s New York premiere over the weekend, according to the New York Post.
{mosads}Apparently “star-struck” by the senator, Eisenberg asked Booker, “Can you save us and run for president?” the Post reports.
Eisenberg, who grew up in the Garden State, plays villain Lex Luthor in the new movie, which also stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.
No word on what the lawmaker replied — or if he’s on Team Caped Crusader or Team Man of Steel.
