Trump makes unannounced stop at his DC hotel

Trump arrived in Washington at around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening for two events — one honoring the vice president-elect and another for Cabinet secretaries.
The president-elect did not eat at either event, according to the press pool report. Instead, at around 9:30 p.m., Trump made an unannounced stop at the Trump Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue.
