Johnny Manziel to Trump: ‘Let them hate’
Johnny Manziel, one of the NFL’s most controversial players, has a message for President Trump: Let the haters hate.
The Heisman Trophy winner and former Cleveland Browns quarterback tweeted to his more than one million followers on Monday:
Yo @POTUS even I know to stay away from the notifications section on twitter. Shit will drive you crazy, lead the country and let them hate

Control what you can control and let the rest fall by the wayside

{mosads}Manziel is no stranger to controversy and bad press. The free agent was indicted by a grand jury in Dallas last year on misdemeanor assault charges. He was also suspended for four games at the start of the 2016 season for substance abuse.
After being drafted in the first round, critics contend the 24-year-old known as “Johnny Football” failed to live up to expectations, dubbing him “Johnny Screw-up.”
