Chrissy Teigen is back on Twitter
Less than a month after Chrissy Teigen said “goodbye” to Twitter, citing its negative effect on her, the TV personality is back on the site.
The model and cookbook author — who along with her husband, “All of Me” singer John Legend, has been among the fiercest critics in Hollywood of former President Trump — had abandoned Twitter in March, telling her then-nearly 14 million followers she was deleting her account because it “no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively.”
But on Friday, Teigen explained she just couldn’t quit the platform.
I choose to take the bad with the good!!

Teigen, 35, had said last month that she was choosing to leave Twitter because her “desire to be liked and fear of pissing people off” had made her somebody her social media fans “didn’t sign up for.”
“I’ve always been portrayed as the strong clap back girl,” Teigen, who in 2020 shared that she had suffered a miscarriage after pregnancy complications, said, “but I’m just not.”
Teigen suggested Friday that as a former prolific tweeter, it had been difficult not to express herself on the site during her time apart from it.

Trump had feuded with Teigen and Legend on social media before, referring to Teigen as the performer’s “filthy mouthed wife.” Teigen, a supporter of President Biden’s 2020 campaign, dubbed Trump a “psychopath.” Twitter permanently suspended Trump’s account in January.
