Eric Trump buys $3.2M home near father’s golf club in Florida
Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Trump, have purchased a $3.2 million mansion in Jupiter, Fla., not too far from former President Trump’s golf club.
The newly bought mansion, which sits on 0.6 acres and boasts five bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms and a pool, is reportedly down the street from Trump National Golf Club, in the club’s own gated community, according to South Florida Business Journal.
It is also located just five miles from Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle’s $9.7 million Admiral’s Cove home, according to Yahoo News.
Some of the moves by the Trumps have caused concern by their new neighbors. Nearly 30 residents of Admirals Cove expressed concerns about Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle moving in, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner also faced pushback from surrounding community members when they moved in to their $30 million Miami home, with members of the closest country club saying they had no interest in the couple joining.
“You have to be nominated and make a formal application. But it only takes one member to object against any new member, and many members are objecting, particularly after the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6,” a local resident previously told Page Six at the time. “The Indian Creek Country Club members are very picky and the word is that Javanka need not apply.”
Last year, Donald Trump’s neighbors in Palm Beach, Fla., argued about the legality of the former president taking up primary residence at his Mar-a-Lago resort following the end of his first term.
